Privacy policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

FitLeaf is a private record of your training and the habits around it. This page explains what we hold, why, and what control you have.

What we hold

Your account details (email address and sign-in information), and the records you choose to create: plans, sessions, sets, nutrition and hydration entries, recovery and sleep logs, measurements, events, notes and habits.

Why we hold it

Only to run FitLeaf for you: showing your day, your plans and your history, and producing the summaries you ask for. We do not use your records for advertising.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers or run a public social feed. Nothing you record is visible to other people unless you choose to share it, for example by exporting a summary or joining a club.

Where it is stored

Your records are stored with our hosting and database providers, who process them on our behalf under their own security controls.

Storage and analytics

Essential storage. Your browser keeps a small amount of information so FitLeaf works: your sign-in session once you have an account, your theme choice and your cookie choice. This does not need consent and is never used for tracking.

Visitor analytics. If you choose Accept on the cookie bar, we count anonymous page views on our public pages using a random browser identifier. Essential only turns this off and removes the identifier.

Member analytics. If you opt in at sign-up or in Settings, we record which parts of the app are used so we can improve it. These counts are never used for advertising and do not include the content of your records. You can switch this off in Settings at any time; using FitLeaf does not depend on it.

We use no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can view, correct and export your records in the app. Under UK GDPR you can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data.

Health information

Some records, such as measurements, sleep and medication, may be health information. We treat them with the same care as the rest of your private record and only use them to show them back to you.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
